What is the difference between Reencle Prime and Gravity?

Reencle is a food waste composter that effectively decomposes food waste using microorganisms. We offer two models: Prime and Gravity, both based on the same processing method but with different specifications.

What consumables should I purchase periodically?

1. Filter

Our kit includes two filters, which need to be replaced every 9-12 months thanks to the internal temperature of 59°C that eliminates odor-causing bacteria. Our microbes also prevent the growth of harmful bacteria, ensuring a 1-2 year lifespan, longer than other dryers on the market.

2. Microbes

You don't need to buy microbes regularly; they reproduce naturally. Once you've purchased the machine, you don't need additional bags unless there are growing problems. As they decompose, the microbes naturally increase.

How can I use microorganisms as compost?

To use microorganisms for composting:

1. Remove the compost with the supplied scoop, keeping the MIN line inside the unit.
2. Sift to remove any loose pieces.
3. Mix 1 part compost with 4 parts soil.
4. Let the mixture mature for 3 weeks in a breathable container.

It's ready when it's dark, crumbly, and has an earthy smell.

Can I turn off the product when traveling?

For your convenience, we have outlined customized instructions based on the length of your trip:

For trips of less than a week

Keep the power cord connected.
Moisten the microorganisms on the day of departure.

For longer trips, longer than a week

Stop adding food waste 2-3 days before leaving.
Use the "dry" function for 2-3 days to keep the microorganisms dry.
When you go out, unplug it.
Store the microorganisms in a sealed zip-lock bag in a cool, dark place.
Upon return, reconnect the power, add the microorganisms, and activate them with 500 ml of water. Use Reencle after 6 hours.

When should I empty the microorganisms?

The "Max" line at the top of the filter chamber indicates when to remove the byproduct. You can choose to remove it at the bright white line (LED) for more frequent emptying, about every two weeks, or at the "Min" line for less frequent removal, about once a month. The method depends on your preferences and needs.
